New communication by the Correas released in the Journal of Biophysics, Hematology and Oncology:
Correa P & Correa A (2010) "Anemia, Polycythemia and Leukemia (1): molecular biology and functional interrelationships of hematologic disorders", J Biophys Hematol Oncol 1(6):1.

This is the long-in-coming review article on current oncology, which, together with JBHO 1/5, presents a new model regarding the etiology of cancer and leukemia in particular, with an emphasis on leukemogenesis and the existence of auto-oncogenic vectors linking blood neoplasms. Amongst other features, the model proposes that functionally acquired cancers share incipient pre-leukemic and auto-immune stages affecting the erythroid compartment, and thus energy and oxygen delivery. It also suggests that, generally, these pre-leukemic symptoms go unrecognized. Together with the previous JBHO communication, this is the basis of the ongoing research project at ABRI in the early detection of leukemia.

January 2010
A new journal was created by Akronos and ABRI as a venue for the publication of novel work on molecular biology and nanobiology, with special focus on the fields of hematology and oncology: the Journal of Biophysics, Hematology and Oncology (JBHO or J Biophys Hematol Oncol). The first five issues (January to May) constitute the first part of the Correas' effort to release all of their papers on oncology, hematology and microbiology, right up to current research. The first three communications detail some of the Correas' work on replicating Reich's research on bions and cancer, and critically present Reich's theories of biogenesis and oncogenesis with their errors. The fourth communication reviews 5 decades of the oncogene theory of cancer, from viral causation, to cellular oncogenes, the biology of growth factors and adaptive mutations, including chromosomal aberrations. The fifth communication presents a unitarian bioenergetic approach to the etiology of cancer, with emphasis on the biological functions of ambipolar energy, hypoxia, Insulin-like Growth Factors, vitamin C in aerobic metabolism, and vitamin D and the pineal gland in the absorption of solar ambipolar energy. The paper entitled "Leukemia, Anemia and Polycythemia: a functional hypothesis" is now planned as the sixth communication.

December 2009
The already delayed release of the Correas' planned communication on leukemia was further impacted by their decision to systematically release all of their papers on oncology, hematology and microbiology, and by hematological research that led to breakthroughs presently under intense investigation with the purpose of confirming the results.

January 2009
The planned release of Correa, PN & Correa, AN (2008) "Leukemia, Anemia and Polycythemia: a functional hypothesis", was severely impacted by the Correas' commitments to Akronos Publishing regarding completion of Vol. I and Vol. II of AToS (the Aetherometric Theory of Synchronicity) for publication. That took up most of 2008, and by January 2009, both volumes were complete. The final monograph in Vol. II was provisionally left out. Other ABRI efforts also took precedence. Together with Dr.s M. Askanas and J. Solá-Soler, Akronos and ABRI launched two new electronic journals: the Journal of Aetherometric Research (JAR), and the Journal of Science and the Politics of Thought (JSPT). These venues are not reserved for ABRI or ISFA members, but submitted publications must be relevant to the venues and meet a certain standard of quality. Another effort that took place in the context of Vol. I of AToS was submission of the ground-breaking aetherometric treatment of the Ives & Stilwell experiment to Physical Review A owned by the APS and to Physical Letters A owned by Elsevier Co. The rejections are detailed in the communication "Death by Peer Review".

February 2008 - Forthcoming
RELEASE of

Correa, PN & Correa, AN (2008) "Leukemia, Anemia and Polycythemia: a functional hypothesis", Akronos Publishing Monograph

The Correas will release a review article on the ongoing oncology research at ABRI, which presents their hypothesis regarding the etiology of cancer and leukemia in particular, with an emphasis on leukemogenesis. The article argues that cancer genetics are neo-Lamarckian adaptations selected by bioenergetic, metabolic and environmental constraints. It proposes that all functional or non-hereditary cancers share incipient pre-leukemic and auto-immune stages affecting the erythroid compartment, and thus energy and oxygen delivery. The Correas' model suggests that, generally, these pre-leukemic symptoms go by unrecognized. This is the basis of the ABRI research project in early detection of leukemia.

January 2008
The current priority of the ABRI is completion of the 3rd generation HYBORAC prototype. The present design integrates capture of solar and atmospheric radiation with capture and storage of 'geothermal energy'. A major change in design and construction method was forced by the 2006 failure to form some of the components employing heat-moulding techniques. The machine was re-engineered, and is presently subcontracted to three out of the four needed manufacturers.

June 2007
With the issuance of US patent #7,235,945, the Correas have now received 2 patents on the Aether/Orgone Motor/Converter - 50 years after Reich's death, and a century after Tesla's Colorado Springs experiments.

February 2007
RELEASE of

Usenko, T, Eskinazi, D, Correa, PN, Amato, D, Ben-David, Y & Axelrad, A (2007) "Overexpression of SOCS-2 and SOCS-3 genes reverses erythroid overgrowth and IGF-I hypersensitivity of primary Polycythemia vera (PV) cells", Leukemia & Lymphoma, 48:134.

Most recent publication identifying the genes involved in Polycythemia vera and the abnormal IGF-I sensitivity of its erythroid compartment while employing the Correa-Axelrad serum-free medium methodology.

May 2006
Issuance of the first patent on the Aether/Orgone Motor/Converter.
